I convinced Scott to go to an Awards Banquet for my job. It was a banquet for the Alaska Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB). It was either a black tie event or the theme was 50's. We choose neither, it is hard enough getting Scott to where a tie!
We actually had a good time. It was held at the new Anchorage Convention Center the Da'neiena Center. Dinner was excellent and the awards were great (and quick!). They hired a comedian, but we left after dinner and the awards, we left John home with our friend Sarah, by 9pm we were missing him and wanted to get going.
Scott gave in and wore a tie and let me get some pictures! So here they are, doesn't he look fabulous!

I saw Scott with a tie once. As I recall he was trying to escape from his prom date over a balcony, and using the tie as a rope. But then again as much as we drank in high school I could be imagining that happen. ;-)
