So now that Scott is out of the hospital we have decided to move to Texas to be closer to the hospital where if/when he needs a transplant we will be ready for it. We are currently in Austin TX staying with Scott's dad. We spent the 4th of July weekend in Dallas scouting out houses and different areas to live in. We found a few areas that we really like and hope to find a job near one of them.
We went and got a little floaty tube for John today so we could get him in Scott's dad's (Dennie) pool. He actually really enjoyed it. He did better than I thought he would. We spent about 1/2 hour in the pool today before he went down for his knap.
Tomorrow we are having Scott's friends over for dinner here at Dennie's house. Scott hasn't seen them for a few years. He is looking forward to seeing them and introducing John and I.
Thursday morning we are heading to San Antonio for Scott. He has some CIRI work to do. We will meet up with Denise (Scott's stepmom) on friday evening for dinner. Saturday morning we will head back to Dennie's for a night then sunday morning back to Dallas for a night, flying back to AK monday afternoon.
It has been a really nice break. The house is finally on the market, we haven't heard anything yet, but we haven't been home so we are not sure how things are going on that front. If you want to check out the MLS listing for our house here is the link.
