Day 7 Edmonton, Alberta --> Great Falls, Montana
We left Edmonton around 9:30am with nice weather and 46 degrees out. Our last stop in Canada was in Lethbridge, I had 10 Canadian dollars left that we needed to spend, so we bought a few things at the gas station and was able to get it down to the penny. We didn’t want any funny money left once we crossed the border. It was a nice, quiet and an uneventful drive today, although Scott hooted and hollered when we crossed the border into the US. He was particularly glad to see the mph signs. I am thinking he is really not into the metric system. He has been griping about it the entire time we were in Canada. We are staying in Great Falls, Montana tonight at a La Quinta Inn. One more night and we will be in Elko, Nevada visiting my family. We are really excited to see them and spend some time with them. Oh, Scott wanted me to write that we saw wind turbines in some of the hills in Northern Montana. He even took pictures of them. He wants to install one at Denny’s on his roof. Not quite sure how that will go over…. LOL , on our way into Idaho tomorrow. Made to Great Falls, Montana at about 530pm. We ate dinner and are now hanging out in our room. We will be on the road again tomorrow by 10am and will be going to Idaho Falls, Idaho.
