We have been "camping" in our driveway the past two nights, we loaded the uhaul and put it on the barge yesterday (Friday) afternoon. We have been cleaning the house and getting last minute things in order. We treated Billy and Marsha to a dinner at Sourdough Mining Company. We all stuffed ourselves then came home and tried to do some more cleaning.
Is sleeping in your camper in your own driveway considered camping? The cat got to stay in the house one last night, tonight will be her first time as an official camping cat. It ought to be interesting.
We have taken several loads of items to the salvation army and managed to get all of our worldly possessions to fit into a 14 foot uhaul truck. Now I think that is impressive. Though, funny to think that less than two years ago we moved with a 24 foot uhaul... yes, we have downsized considerably, and it feels great! We do not have a home to go to in Portland yet, we will be searching online as we drive down the road. We will keep you all posted on that progress as well.
