Day 2 Tok, AK --> Whitehorse, Yukon

We left Burnt Paw Cabins in Tok at 9:00 am. We enjoyed a nice hot breakfast provided by the Cabins. The Canadian border is 90 miles away.
We made it to Whitehorse at about 5:30pm, around 398 miles. We are staying at the High Country Inn. It was a nice drive today Scott and John behaved themselves and the cat slept the entire way. We ate dinner at the High Country Inn, we started off sitting in the lounge, and then the chef came out of the kitchen to tell us we couldn’t sit in there with John, so they moved us to the deserted dining room. They were really nice to us and cooked John a plain cheese quesadilla “for free” the chef said. As most of you know the food in Canada is pretty bland so we went back to the room and started munching on some of the snacks we packed with us. Val, you would be so proud! I just finished my homework finally and now have a little time to post some updates for you. We are all in good spirits and having fun. We plan on trying to get to Muncho Lake tomorrow. It is a little less than 500 miles; we plan on getting an early start.
