Day 9 Idaho Falls, Idaho --> Spring Creek, Nevada

We left Idaho Falls at 10am the temperature was 36 degrees, blue skies and not much wind. Going to be a great day for a drive, we only have 300 miles to go. We bought an atlas last night at Wal-Mart to see what route we are going to take from Spring Creek, Nevada. We have been back and forth on if we wanted to go straight across going through SLC or if we should go south and then east through Las Vegas, Nevada. We plan on discussing the path with Melody and Shane to see if they have any suggestions. We will post more on that later. We are more than half way done with our trip and it has been fun thus far. We are looking forward to getting into the warmer areas of the world. Every day we see the temperature rise just a bit. We made it to Spring Creek, Nevada at about 5pm. It was 50 degrees when we pulled into Shane and Melody’s house. We had a roast dinner with the family and then visited for a few hours. It is nice to be home with family. John loves playing with his cousin Dace, he follows him all over and mimics everything he does. We went to bed early and are going to play around town today and maybe vacuum the car out. We will stay here one more night and then head to Price, Utah for one night. We will hopefully stop in SLC to have lunch with Clinton and Summer and the girls; we haven’t seen them for a few months so it will be nice to have John play with the girls.
